SNOW!

   I know everyone is posting snow pics, and some of you northerners are probably laughing at us. Oh well. My kids were so excited! So we had to play in it and of course I had to take photos. I will only post my favorites. And yes, my children used a cooler lid as a sled. We might be rednecks!

From 2010 until now....

   I was seeing a few photographers post some Then vs. Now posts. I went back and looked at some of my photos. WOW. I'm kind of surprised by how far I have come. It's been a lot of trial and error, but seeing progress makes me feel like I'm getting somewhere. Being self taught and only learning from what I read, advice I can get from other photogs, and lots of practice, I feel very accomplished!

Little Island Park, Sandbridge

   From what I can find, this little area is a part of Virginia Beach. It's just about 45 minutes away from where I live. Virginia Beach is HUGE! It's crazy, because you feel like you have traveled really far and are in a completely different place. We had to check it out and of course I had to take my camera! We will be going back when it warms up. Here are some of my favorite shots. The light was fantastic!

Teaghan is ONE!

   I met Teaghan's mom when I was selling some baby clothes back in 2011. She was barely pregnant enough to know that she was having a girl. Now Teaghan is ONE and she is preggers with girl number 3! Seriously! Where does the time go?? Happy Belated Birthday Teaghan!

Where does the time go?

   I am planning on doing some more portrait style photos later, but she kept saying, "Picture me, Mommy! Picture me!" So I took some snapshots. I have gotten away from black and white, but had been playing the other day and forgot to change the setting back. Simple mistake, that turned out pretty. I love all of Arrington's crazy expressions. I can hardly believe she is almost two! Where does the time go??

It's a......

    When I got the random-middle-of-the-day "BTW I'm pregnant" text a few months ago, I immediately squealed! The Griffiths are one of the coolest families I have gotten to know here in Virginia and I was so excited for them! Then, I asked Chasity if I could do a gender reveal shoot for her. I was even more super stoked when she said yes! The anticipation has been killing me! And apparently everyone else in her family based on the barrage of posts on her facebook this morning! I am so glad they let me be a part of this with them! (I didn't know until they opened the box either!)
