AJ || Class of 2013

    I've known AJ's mom, Tricia, for a while now. I got to know her when I first moved here and started buying hair bows from her for my girls. She's pretty awesome! I posted not too long ago asking for Senior Reps. His mom messaged me asking if he could do it. He is a senior THIS year, but with some struggles his family endured, he was never able to get his Senior Photos done. I figured, why not!?! He loves his family and his many siblings and has come through for his family in some difficult times. It's the least I could do for such a great kid! Congrats on graduation, AJ! But more so on being an awesome human being!

And isn't Copper adorable y'all? Love that dog!

****I still need Senior Reps for the Class of 2014!! Message me if you are interested in FREE photos, and being featured on facebook and my blog!****

Haas || Birth Session

   When Billie asked me to do a birth session for her, I was nervous but ecstatic. I was always afraid to do it, but I have finally found my confidence in my photography so I went for it!

   I must say, it wasn't your typical birth. She messaged me at 6:10pm and told me she had to be at the hospital at 7 for an induction. And she was already 4cm dilated so we knew it would probably be kind of quick. Of course I was across town without my camera! Isn't that how it always works!?! I flew home, got my stuff, managed to scarf down some food and made it to the hospital by 7:30. She didn't really get started until about 8:30. By 9:30 she was ready for an epidural. And then at 10:29pm after only 6 minutes of pushing, Laikyn Rayne entered the world. Mom totally rocked that delivery! It was beautiful. She did so amazing.

  It was probably the fastest birth session I will ever shoot! HAHA

Water {Project.12 || May}

   As I have been getting back into my photography, I came across a facebook page. It's called Project.12. They also have a website. Basically it's a way for photographers to make time to photograph their own life and family. I LOVE taking photos of my kids, as you all know. So, I decided to give it a try! The theme for this month is "Water". Easy peasy since we live at the beach! LOL Not really. Lighting, weather, and cranky kids played a factor! I finally got some good shots today after a couple of attempts.

  We also decided to give our dog Keyla a turn in front of the lens. She did great at the beach, and even posed for me! Arrington, however, was less than cooperative. But that is nothing new! Kassie loves the camera, and the water, so there are always more pics of her!

You will notice the editing styles aren't fluid and don't "match". That's because on my own family I play around and try out new things! I hope to have the chance to do more of these! I will always refer to Project.12 if it's one of their project themes.  Hope you all enjoy!

Have a GREAT summer, y'all!
xoxo,
